I've started using my Prismacolor Colored Pencils 
First thing I'm drawing is a Rose, as I'm very, very familiar with drawing Roses, so figure it's the best thing to test drive my pencils with.
I hope you guys like it! I've been working very hard on it! It's so weird, and interesting to work with SO many different colored pencils, I'm used to being so limited, you know ... with typical colored pencils you have Red, Dark Red and then you start going into Pinks ... With these, I have the Prismacolor 150 piece Pencil Set - So I have like a WHOLE darn tray of Reds to work with LoL!!!
I'm actually thinking about doing something a bit different with this piece, as I do plan on selling it, I was thinking about making it '3Dish' and draw a few Rose Petals separate from the Rose on the page, manipulate the petals after cutting them out, like bend them so they fold over like actual Rose Petals and then attaching them with glue to really make the Rose *POP* out at you.
I'd probably look at getting a frame that's pretty much a shadow box frame, so it wouldn't smoosh when it's put in the frame.
But that's just an idea right now, not sure I'll do it or not ... I just want it to be unique and be something someone would really like ... A Beautiful, bright red, red rose, that never dies - The perfect gift for a girlfriend or wife

It's been a slow process, I suffer from arthritis and most recently my carpal tunnel is hurting really bad
I'm eager to finish this Rose though, just doing a few petals at a time each night, but I fear it might be time to go into a Dr about the carpal tunnel.
